A new easter card

Here is a card I did for a challenge at Turned Gypsy. Not my best work but I'll leave it out and stare at it for a bit longer...lol... I've got a some busy days ahead of me and I wanted to be sure that I got it in! Thanks for looking!

YUM YUM!!

This is a layout of my great nephew Gage after finishing a cupcake! Isn't he a cutie! It's a simple layout but I really like how it turned out!

I posted both copies of the layout because I wanted to see side by side..lol...or up and down...the difference a couple little things I did made to the layout! When I did the layout the first time I liked it...but felt it was missing something. A couple days later I had a chance to watch Monique's video on some techniques she always uses. I tried a couple of them and think it really made a difference! It's still a simple layout but with a little pop now! I had already inked on the first copy but added the black mats and I did a little white pen work! I can see I reallyyyy need to work on my inking but I will just have to keep working on that one! I still need to work on my white pen work also but for my first try I'm pretty pleased! thanks Monique for the tips!

Loving Bling!!

I am realllly loving bling right now! Maybe its because there are mostly boys in the family so when i get a chance to do a girl layout its gotta BLING!! Here are a couple pictures of Mom when she was a little girl. Hope you all enjoy! No cricut on this but I love how it turned out!
